This Steinway piano is a model O. It is a 5' 11" grand in traditional satin ebony finish built in 1912. It was purchased by a prominent Dallas, TX piano instructor who had it completely restored with new strings, action rebuild and more in 1985. It was her dream piano. 

She ultimately retired from teaching and moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida. The piano was then placed on the consignment program at Dollarhide's.

Hobart M. Cable Spinet

This Hobart M. Cable piano is  a spinet in walnut finish built in 1970.

Hobart M. Cable was a piano maker at Cable Piano Co. with brothers H.D. Cable and Fayette S. Cable prior to starting the company that bears his name in 1900.

The brand was purchased by American Sejung in the 1990s and the pianos are now made in the largest stringed instrument factory in the world, located in Quingdao China.

This Baldwin Acrosonic spinet came from a Gulf Breeze, FL home. It is in good condition and has an elegant 1950's cabinet that will appeal to many. It has a matching bench. It is appraised at $1,999. The Acrosonic was Baldwin's piano series that was the best that they could make. Top quality designs, materials and workmanship yielded a piano that would perform better than the competition and stand the test of time. The name came from Acro="highest" and Sonic="sound."  

A spinet piano is a piano of approximately 36" in height. They were first introduced in the 1930s and production ceased in the early 2000s due to competition from digital pianos at lower prices. They filled a need for a smaller piano in height while giving the full 88 note keyboard.
